Wondering if anyone is using a 4wd allis for silage?  what chopper do you use? pics???

8050 pulling a new holland 790 (540 pto) with a two row head. it may take three but i have next to no repairs with two and dont want to push my luck. keep the knives sharp and you dont know its back there. our wagons are gehl 970 s and we love them.  they unload real even and the blower likes that....Jb

This a picture from 2005 in which our 6080 is in front of the 782 chopper.  The reason the corn is so brown is I had a few delays getting the new to me chopper running that fall.

We use a Ford 8970 with a Dion chopper with a 4 row corn head. That thing goes to town with the 4 row

oh! up until now, I really didn't know about their choppers.  I had seen heads for NH maybe?  I'm familiar with the big brands as well as the JF.  I think the JF 1355 must be like $75,000.   how does the dion compare to this?
