I have one series II with the water temperature opening horizonally in the themostat housing on left side. My others have them in head along valve cover vertically.When did it change? Thanks Tracy Martin |

I noticed that on the D15 II I had. I came to the conclusion that it was on the later 160 c.i. heads only, no serial number break, around '65 but couldn't narrow it down closer.

Joe, One of mine has it vertical by the valve cover. I just thought this one was differant. I do believe it is a couple years newer than my other one. Thanks Tracy Martin
