Too cool! It doesn't have a starter or any electrical, but it has a cab. Would have probably cost too much back then for the people who were buying Bs to afford, but it sure would have been nice to block off some of that winter wind and dust.

I didn't do it! It was a short, fat, tall, skinny guy that looked like me!

That would be one of the first factory cab tractors ever made. I know one of the first official cab tractors was the MM UDLX.

Anybody got an idea what year that tractor is? It doesn't have the cast wheels for a 38 but doesn't look like the 39 riveted wheel either. What year did Minnie Moe come out with the cabs for the R and the U?

Estimate the year, let's see: no starter provision, no hole for radiator shutters, throttle mounted low on the steering support post, Wico(?) Magneto (some kind of different impulse coupler there), definitely bolt front hubs...So I would have to dig out the parts book to see the serial # changes there. I'm guessing about an early 40 off the top of my head??? |

What if....The back of the cab was a door (like the UDLX) and a set of steps on a hinge folded down? Just thinking out loud :) I guess the backrest would have to be modified too.

David, the door handle is on the side by the bottom corner of the windshield. The hinges are in back so it has suicide doors.
