Well I finally bought a Model A, as a New Year present to myself. A really nice original kerosene-engined 1937 model (s/n 25904) with electric start. It runs very well and has never been painted since it left the Allis factory, so I'm leaving it that way, with just a coat of Owatrol preservative. I'm very pleased to have it in my collection of big kerosene standards from the 1930's/40's and it will sit with its Allis sisters (20-35, EK30-60 and Model U) glaring across the shed at the other makes. I look forward to taking it out to a few shows this year.

Love the "Original" finish, all the re-painted tractors must be jealous.
