    Posted: 22 Dec 2010 at 12:53pm
I am posting this for another Allis restorer.  He has a G with a broken cast frame.  It is broken in the center where it bolts to the front.  He said that some of the square plate with the 4 holes is missing so he is not able to weld anything.  The part number is 800071.  Does anyone know of a salvage yard or a salvage G where he could buy the cast frame?  If so, please reply to this post or call him at 712-374-2179.  Thanks a lot.

I just bought the same part you are talking about from rusty acres in CA. Surprisingly the part and shipping weren't bad.

Front weight will help with that problem. Keeps it from popping up and steers better through rough plow furrows. JMHO Tracy Martin
