Nice old picture. Do you still use either one of those tractors or the planter just for fun? Now for a dumb question, what is the long rod on the side of your Oliver corn planter? I'm not much on corn planters. Looks like it could do a good job snagging trees.

Hey IG, I can see your devotion to AC as you said in earlier posts after seeing these photos. Oh, the good ol days. We were small farmers but once a year the local AC dealer would have a customer appreciation dinner and slide show. I remember sitting in awe of the big gleaners and the 7000 series tractors!! I grabbed all the literature I could carry with me when we left. I could tell anyone more facts about certain equipment than a salesman could!!!Oh to be young again!! My father introduced me to orange, and I will always be!! Take care, Ryan

Got a neighbor with a planter a lot like that one sitting in a shed. Been a long time since it was used. F4 tornado tried removing it in 03 but it survived.
