December 6th 2024 will mark the 39th anniversary of the day the last Allis-Chalmers rolled off the assembly at the West Allis Works in Wisconsin. This was the final chapter in a 71 year tradition of making tractors in Milwaukee and hailed the end of AC tractor line. A sad day for all of us. Thanks to ALL the guys thatt worked at ANY of the Allis plants. You are our greatest knowledge on this forum. THANK YOU!

Lucky for us a lot of parts are still available, hard to believe after 39 years. I’m glad AGCO still realizes that. Does anyone realize how many car/truck manufacturers drop parts after 10 years. If it wasn’t for aftermarket that would suffer badly. Also glad there are folks out there that buy up old Allis stock to resale. Thankful that’s where I got my 65 year old NOS tach for my D14. Allis may not be built anymore, but she sure hasn’t died off. Plenty of folks still love them, including all of us.

Agree with you.
But everyday an Allis probably gets hauled to junk… Some forget that and every day they are getting harder to find… |

I hauled a complete 37 WC yesterday. Didn't even get $100 for it.

That's a sad state of affairs, especially when you consider I gave £195 for my incomplete "rusty redneck B"... (and that was still the cheapest c.20hp tractor on ebay UK, by some margin!)
Can't imagine the WC was a real peach if you had to take it over the scales, but even still it's a shame. I definitely need a sponsor to get me & family over to the states, I'd end up with a yard full of "saves" for sure!
