Anyone going to the Barber vintage Motorcycle festival in Leeds Al (outside of Birmingham) Oct. 11-13. I'm going the 11th and possibly the 13th. Looking for a backup trials bike. If you don't know about it look it up on YT. Vintage racing & 500 venders at swap meet. Need a part let me know.

Local fellow and Member of Viking Chapter of Vintage Motorcycle group here in MN mentioned swap meet here this year was a low turnout at both there June meet and Sept swap meet . He also did the Iowa, Chief Blackhawk meet and had a slow participation.
Seems economy cut back on both buyers and sellers at events . That extra cash is hard to give out and also exchange for those wanted items.
I know myself with around 15 bikes I should sell some but also the parts I want can wait as still have to many projects going without needing more items I might use tomorrow on another project .

I had a bike when i was 16 years old and rode several till about 45.. Kids and wife duties too much so called it quits....... Had a TL125 Honda trail bike in the beginning.. Geared for top speed of about 40 MPH... But in 1st gear it would climb a tree !   and didnt weigh anything.  Harleys and Hondas over the years. Bothers had BSA and Triumph..
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

Got a Bultaco Sherpa Trials now that I'm thinking about competing with. Main reason I'm going is to see what's required to properly set up bike for the vintage class.  Their supposed to have a small-bore hill climb and observed trials course on Friday. Also, I'd like to catch the sidecar & some road racing if possible.
