I went after a Snap-Coupler rear mounted scoop yesterday, and the guy asked me if I also wanted to buy the post hole digger he had next to the scoop. He showed me how he mounted it to his WD-45. You pin the angle iron weldment/adapter into the drawbar bail pins, and the long arms pin to that weldment. The lift arms attach to the links you can see next to the long arms.
The gearbox looks an awful lot like this one used on an IH model: https://farmallcub.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=73631&start=15 And it looks similar to one posted here on the forum a while back: https://www.allischalmers.com/forum/post-hole-digger-hitching-help_topic48081.html There are a few differences, but I think this might be J & S/Five Star. Anyone know for sure? |

My neighbor has one on the back of a 2N Ford. Just assumed it was Ford too. But must not be.
