Friend of mine just recently bought a wilmar 8650 sprayer. Guy he bought it from told him that he could still get all the parts for it from agco. Now I am not exactly sure what he has going on, but I guess that he needs the motor and a wheel speed sensor for the front left wheel, and it supposedly is no longer available. He has loved this sprayer up until now, and now he is livid and wants to get rid of it for a John deere. Does anyone on here run the wilmar sprayers, and no of an alternative to agco for parts and service. I really hope that I can find something to help him out, because he's needing this sprayer badly right now. Thanks, Darrel

Willmar did not make the wheel motor or the speed sensor. Those are items built by someone else. He needs to find a hydraulic rebuilder who specializes in that brand of wheel motor or a better AGCO dealership who takes care of many of the same model sprayer.

Find a good hydraulic shop, and take it there.

We had a Willmar a few years back, wheel motors were made by Auburn Gear.
Typical Agco, always switching colors, brand names and then no parts. Im not surprised. |
