I sent my pump to a dealer to get rebuilt and it is junk. Does anyone know of a reputable place to get a rebuilt one?

There were two types - one had a cast iron manifold on the end that was the inlet - old type and the later had suction in the lower middle with a flow divider in the end.  I got on an old 190 long ago and noticed the steering was super - looked and found the pump had been switched to the 200/210 or late XT style. A bit of line changing but worth the effort and gives you an option.  There was a pump for the early model listed on ebay for 800 I think - might as well expect to get a kit and got thru it or any used one as well.  New ones are pricey...
When told "it's not the money,it's the principle", remember, it's always the money..

JimD, is that aftermarket or new? Wha kind of price are you talking about? The problem is finding a good used rebuildable pump.
