Had to remove pre cleaner, muffler and sun shade brackets to get into shop. Precleaner has 18” pipe making the complete unit 24” high. Seems excessive to me, opinions on height? Need to clean, degrease and inspect. Also how many hours do you experts run your fuel filters? I have 5 years and 280 ish hours on this filter. She is used to mow, rake and tedd. Also has 180 hours on hydraulic filter with new hytrans oil then 3 years ago (60 hours per season) Opinions on if this filter should be replaced. Thanks y’all. Dana

When in doubt, replace the filters. After you take the fuel filters out, you will be able to see how dirty they are. Make sure there is no rust or crud in your tank. My pre-cleaner is about 24" high. What makes you think that's excessive? It came from the factory that way, why change it? The higher it is, the further away from the dust it will be.
