Dad bought a WD similar to this many years ago. The rolls on his were over the regular tires (narrow front end).

The tall seat side rails and narrow front steering identify this as a model C.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.

that reminds me of this G that was on an auction site years ago, rear wheels were said to be 700lbs each, for rolling sod

I wouldn't think you would get much compaction with it. A B (or C) would weigh about 2500 lbs. (+/-) When you take the amount of surface area of those rolls, there wouldn't be very many psi.
