All, my 190xt has been leaking what looks like water/oil from around the pto shaft seal. My question is where and how do you drain the pto oil and where do you fill it from. I see large plug looking caps on either side of the lower housing, Are those the drains?  Any help would be appreciated as I am about to have the old girl ready for the field.

Oil leaking from the PTO shaft is the seal and Oring that need to be replaced. The first drain plug is directly left of the PTO shaft six inches and forward four inches. Takes 1 1/8" wrench. The second drain plug is behind the battery box, again taking 1 1/8" wrench. Refill is done to to right of the stubby gearshift and will take about 10 gallons of Universal trans/hydraulic fluid. The hydraulic refill is to the left of the stubby gear shift. While the oil is drained you can remove three bolts on the PTO shaft shield and remove the seal retainer and swap out the seal and Oring for new.

If you happen to have a two speed, rear lift housing has to come off. Not likely on that tractor.                    MACK

The drain plugs on either side of the lower housings are the final drives. They are separate compartments. They take 80-90 gear oil.

So I will just pull the final drive plugs on either side and let them empty. Where are the fill plugs located for these final drives?  Or do I just fill those until the oil runs out of them as full?

Each final drive fill/check plug is exactly half-way up on the axle for height and are under the lift arm cylinders and uses the same 1 1/8" wrench. An owners manual sure would have helped you on all of this as it has very good pictures in it.
