How do you get the the Steering Ball Joint out/off the Steering Arm? I know that it's a tapered fit. I've supported the arm from the floor, and backed the nut off to the end of the tampered bolt, and hit it with a heavy hammer. Maybe I should heat it.

Sometimes hitting the steering arm on the side of the HOLE will shock load it and let the taper shaft loosen up....

Backup BIG hammer on one side and smaller hammer whacking the other. Where i can fit it I use 8lb sledge and 4lb hammer.
