Gradually lost rear remotes when brush hogging. Then steering was intermittent. Thinking I'm not getting hydraulic flow out of the pump. No leaks on the suction side. Are the ports on top of the pump for testing? Anyone have some test procedures. I have a flow meter and all the guages. If there are port labels I Can't see any.

Oil was good. Even added a bit to overfill. I did notice if I held the steering occasionally it would build pressure and the wheels would move just a bit. Same when I try to use the remotes to lift. The brush hog would shutter trying to lift every so often.

could be low oil.
had the same issue with our 6060, I just put a pressure gage on one of the remotes and only Had about 900 psi max @ 1800 rpm. Replace the pump and everything worked fine. Dan

Just got back and seen this.I was checking around to see where I could tap in and happened to notice the sump was at the torque tube....duh. not sure why I assumed it pulled from the rear when I literally just put this thing together 3 years ago and know better. You know what they say about assumptions! I hope my mistake helps someone find the thread in the future. I will say you guys are good and called it lol. The brush hog cylinder was leaky. Definitely will need to fix that because it obviously leaks more than I thought. Hopefully I didn't pre maturely wear anything. Thanks again for the great advice!
