Unhooked and parked the mower for the year today . Hooked up the 3 pt blade up to the D-15 SII. I find if I hook up the blade and get it ready the guy in Nebraska won't catch me by surprise. Lots tougher to hook it up in all the pretty he likes throwing around. Battery is fully charged, gas tank full with some more on hand. I am as ready as I can be, hopefully he takes it easy on us .
You only need to know 3 things to be a plumber;Crap rolls down hill,Hot is on the left and Don't bite your fingernails

Pat, as I foggily recall, I only used the blade last winter one time, but I gotta admit I played around a few times.  LOL

Was outside today working with no shirt or jacket on. Never done that before. But gonna get 5he blade on the front of the old red pickup next day or so. Had to put my trip thru the Dakotas, still dealing with the wife passing. Better drive old red to town and gas him up this weekend.

Got my blade on the tractor Monday while the weather is still decent. My theory is that if the blade is on the tractor it is less likely I will need to use it. Of course there is still the "Shameless factor".

The last couple of years I've just left the blade, (and chains) on the 720.

Just getting ready for old age? It's kind of handy for moving dirt in the summer.
