Someone has a 7040 on craigslist, everythings supposed to be working, good tires and it looks good [5 pictures] . What seems odd to me is there is no cab, I thought all the 7000 series were factory cab.  It shows up on Danville Va or lynchburg Va craigslist. $5000.00 Again not mine just passing it on!  Keith So Va.

That one was a cab tractor.  Its just had the cab cut off.  You could purchase 7000 series as open station versions.

Dad had a 7000 open station when I was a kid.  We put a cab on it.

I think we had a couple open station 7030/7050 tractors at Dad's dealership when they first came out, but not many.  I remember one ended up with a Year-a-Round cab put on aftermarket.  Most were factory cabs.

the one on cl has a fine quality restoration done! lol! It looks like someone took a lot of time to cut the cab off and spiff it up too. I'm just kinda picky about decals lol! At least it's priced about right!

My neighbor had a factory 7030 open station tractor that he chopped silage with on the other side of the fence when I was a kid. We were still using the 200 in the late 70's, I remember thinking "why can't we have one like that".
