I am refurbishing the rims and centers on my Series 3 D 17s and would like to know what people have found for paint ( in rattle cans ) As near as I can tell, the centers are supposed to be the cream/ivory color and the rims silver. Please help me with the products that you guys have found available.
Thanks
Mike

Originally the wheels were AC Cream (AGCO dealer has that) and the rims were galvanized but silver works. Aluminum paint looks really sharp in my opinion. The local Allis dealer used to have rattle cans of galvanize paint. Never tried it and I don't see it around anymore.
The 8 wheel bolts are supposed to be zinc coated and not painted. Just go get new ones. Looks better than painting the bolts. Edited by Lonn - 03 Sep 2010 at 8:01am |

for the centers, I have been using Rustoleum "Almond" color and it matches pretty well. And for the rim I have been using Rustoleum "hammered silver" color and it looks pretty good.
