I'm not trying to hijack this thread, but I am also in the market for an umbrella (or two). I have absolutely no experience with tractor umbrellas. I have never owned one.

Most of my tractors are only used for parades or shows and are trailered a lot, so the umbrella would need to be either wind resistant or (better) very easy to remove and reinstall.

It (they) would probably go on one of my WD's, CA's or IB's.

What does everyone recommend; buggy style or one supported by a single mast?

... and AC720Man, who is Ken ?

I have the buggy style on my D-10. I take to/on caravans. I just fold it down and wind a small rope around it hauling in on the trailer.
It not is not only a sun shade but helps keep me dry in the rain.

One of my D-10's or my D-12 Series 3 are also possibilities. Where did you get your umbrella, Dusty ?

I don't remember where I got my buggy top umbrella. Did some research and found them at, "Heritage Farm Power". They look just like mine except mine has faded badly. I've got some orange fabric die, but I don't want to loose the A.C. emblem.

I have 2 different ones I got from Ken at Heritage also but he is just 6 miles from me and of course have a good chat each time.  I haven't located a picture of the one on the WC but here is the one I put on the U, not period correct but I manufactured a mount that utilizes the fender bracket bolts and will also work on the A.

I cant remember Kens last name, super nice fella. I have been looking for his brochure but haven’t run across it. He has umbrellas, buggy tops, the poles and mounting hardware.
Bought one for my WD also. They can be removed quickly as the pole slides out of the mount by loosening a handle.
