The feeder is right outside our kitchen window.  We were wondering what was happening to to all the sunflower seeds.  It is somewhat on-topic since there are chunks of my parts tractor in the end of the video.

Good video. We have "tree rats" raiding our bird feeders.
Just an old country boy saved by the grace of God.

Pretty clever critter! Did a nice job of counter-balancing itself on your feeder. I imagine that eating that way is harder than it looks. Have you ever tried swallowing food while upside down?!!? I'd love to see how Ricky got UP there with that baffle installed. I think a cap for the roof consisting of wood panels with nails driven up from below might discourage that fellow. Or perhaps a lead pill.......

Nice video. Thanks for sharing. You, know, i've found that .22 bullets are MUCH cheaper than birdseed, and usually takes less to fill 'em up. LOL! Hubert, my dad has been having war with the tree rats for several years now. I wish he had kept count on how many ended up with lead poisoning. Probably would have made a syrup kettle full of dumplings.

You should probably take him a drink of water. He is likely to choke on those things without a drink to wash them down!
He is certainly chowing down on the bird food. If it wasn't so funny to watch, I think a person could get kinda mad.
If it weren't for the last minute, I wouldn't get anything done!
