I ordered a new Thermostat from Steiner, bought the one listed as compatible with the WD45:
The t-stat that was in the water manifold housing was completely gutted, but it was the t-stat only with a 2.5" flange, not the smaller one that Steiner sells with the separate little cup and gasket. So, now I'm confused about how I get this new one in there. It's not immediately evident how the cup and thermostat mate together in the water manifold in a way to keep the thermostat in place. I don't think I'm missing any pieces, but every arrangement I tried basically left the thermostat floating around loose in one side or the other. What am I missing?
