It seems too good to be true...just spray it on and equipment is good as new? Anyone tried it?

Looking at the website is it just clear coat? I have seen people spraying clear coat over rough paint to get a sheen like that I just wonder if that what it is.

It does seem like just a clear coat, with UV protection additives. I guess it’d make the equipment look good for a while, but if it ever started coming off...

you said it when it starts coming off , look at what vechles look like when the clear starts coming off and it will unlesss it sitts in the garage 99% of its life

I used something like that on a Florida sun-bleached GMC Jimmy about 20 years ago. It worked OK, but did not make it look like new paint. That was an acryilic product that did come off over time, but not like an lacquer or enamel clear coat. It didn't peal off, it just kind of went away gradually over time and it could be reapplied. It was like one day you realized it was dull again.
I don't know if this is similar, but if I had something faded that I didn't want to paint, I'd try something like the stuff I used years ago again.

Read on some other forums that you need to degrease real well, scoff it up with a scotchbrite, and spray the stuff on heavy to almost running point.
Also seen it was $28 a spray can at https://www.farmshopstore.com/search.php?search_query=colorback&x=4&y=5

say what you want but there never will be a replacment for lead base paint that last 75 years and just needs to be kept waxed ocassonaly
