I recently bought a Simplicity 7117 1690725 garden tractor. I’m looking for a 2 stage snow thrower that would be compatible for this model. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have a 917 that I have a Snow Thrower that I use with it. It a single stage, and works very well, even with very wet snow.

You may have to buy a 2 stage blower for another brand and modify it to fit your Simplicity. I don't think there are any factory bolt on ones availible

Thanks A-C that’s good to know. I guess I’m not against a one stage it’s just that I never had one. So I wasn’t sure how they performed. I found a couple snow throwers for my 7117 for sale but I know there’s probably more that are compatible besides that one model.

I'm wit' AC220, I don't think they ever offered a 2 stage unit attachment. I think they were all single stage. I have a complete blower unit off the 700 series for sale..

Thanks Steve, I wasn’t finding any 2 stages. I just found a 42” blower for sale near me. I’m gonna go look at it. But I will keep your info in case it doesn’t work out

the single stage that i use with my 101 is one mean thrower it will kick the crap out any two stage if you get the simplicity one that belongs on there you will be very happy with it and it will not plug in wet snow like the two stage ones will

Thanks Hudco that’s good to know. I actually just picked up a 42” for it yesterday for $100. Looks like it’s in pretty good condition too. I can’t wait for the snow this year.
