Got a issue, have a old cemetery in our front yard, has One oddball 'tree' in it growing square center on one plot. Have taken a leaf strand to the local nursery they had no clue.

I'd say more of a big shrub than a tree. Looks like something in the Euonymus family.

Nope,,,,not a mesquite,,,mesquite has long thin leaves and thorns along the stem. Those thick, glossy lookin leaves look familiar ,,,gimme a sec to get woke up good,,,,,,

Is an evergreen, have been told everything from Coffee Tree to Holly to Boxwood. None of the leaves match however.

Looks like Box Elder to me.
They do grow to a pretty good size if left to grow on its own without being pruned or trimmed back. Correction: Boxwood as previously stated. Have seen it several times over the years doing yard work and was told what it was. It can be used for a shrub and a privacy hedge.
