Still fixing little things on my 52 WD, I filled up the steering gear with the 140 wt grease that the manual calls for. I noticed the other day that it's leaking out slowly from the steering shaft. The parts manual calls for cork seals for the steering shaft seals, is there anything else you guys use to fix this problem? Thanks.

Mobile EP grease or something similar. It's either that or disassemble the unit and find and repair the problem. You might be able to find a thinner rubber seal to replace the original and put 2 in place of the original. Charlie
