![]() Can anyone tell me what this bracket over the rear axle is and what it may go to? There are two of them one over each axle. They are on a 1961 D15. They do not look like a shadetree fabrication, the welds are too good and the steel is pretty thick, but one never knows. Farmers can be quite inventive! Thanks... |

My guess is shade tree belly mower, blade or loader brackets. I don't think they are factory. too many sharp corners. JMHO, Tracy

Thanks for the help. I was baffled, but no one in the family knew why grandpa had those on the tractor. I guess I will leave them on when I start the restoration. also so sorry for all that green stuff in the background messing up the picture!
