I looked in the op-manual and the "it" book and having trouble coming up with the correct torque on a 8010. Would 50 lbs be too much? Thanks Dave

aren't they 1/2" bolts? It seems to me the 426 using 1/2" bolts are at least 75 ft lbs. Torque them  down evenly in small steps. 25,50,then 75.

I know the 8010 is a 301, I was comparing, thinking the 301 used the same exh manifold bolt size. 7/16 bolts would torque to 44-49 on early ones with lock tab washers, and self locking bolts are torqued to 30 ft lbs on earlier tractors to 7000 per my IT since it's handy. Later book calls for 46 ft lbs on 7010/7020.
