I am in the middle of changing a pan gasket on a 190. The leak was towards the rear of the pan. Engine adapter plate orings were changed 6 month ago. When I pulled the pan off I noticed towards the rearof the pan, where the pan and engine adapter plate part of the pan are soldered toghether the solder is recessed right where it contacts the square cut oring, about 1/8 to 3/16 inch deep. What should I do? try to refill it with solder or fill it with gasket dresser? Is it advisable to dress the oring when reassembleing? Any help is appreiciated.
