Hi, I'm new to the site thought I would post some pictures of my Allis Chalmers FDX40-24 diesel powered forklift. I bought it off a guy that was parting it out, but convinced him to sell it as a whole unit. I bought it for less than scrap and towed it back to my shop. I need a forklift and this one fit the bill. As the engine did not run, I thought I would simply swap in my 1960 OM621 engine and problem solved, but having looked over the engine that's in it I decided to revive it. The engines turns, but no fuel is delivered to the injectors, so I've removed the pump and in the process of rebuilding it. I'll be pulling the engine as well so I can fix a crack in the block and check the liners and bearings for wear. I've taken some pictures and made a video of the forklift. Here's the forklift and a Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7L8DHNadkfc

Good save! It looks a lot like mine except mine is propane. Hope the repairs are easy and not too expensive.

Thanks, I don't think it should cost me too much as I make almost everything I can't buy cheaply. Too much fun:)
