Been working on my '41 C alternator and removed the fan pulley to free up adjustment to get belt to fit. One of the studs that hold the front pedestal to the engine block has been broken off since before I owned it. Does anyone know where I can find a stud and the part number? Also may as well replace valve cover and oil pan gaskets that are leaking, and radiator hoses. Is there one place that has all this? Haven't been able to find anything on the stud. Also need governor spring for '48 C.
Thanks, Bill. |

You can use a 1/2" grade 5 or 8 bolt. The studs are 1/2" curse thread into the block with 1/2" fine thread on the outside.

Thanks, Dick. That should work, I guess. Didn't even think about that!
