    Posted: 26 Feb 2017 at 3:44pm
I just created a Facebook page for my dad and I's parts business. Page is L&L parts. Feel free to like it if you have Facebook.  I'll be posting about new inventory, parts tractors, and implements as well as travel plans for shows and swap meets and other out of state trips. It'll be an easier way for me to try and keep up with stuff back home while I'm here at college. Will still work on posting here, just haven't gotten much time lately to do so. Also, I plan to be at Missouri with my dad so hope to see a bunch of you guys there.

Your search needs to be L&L parts, only put a space between the last L and parts,

Is there any way that the information can be accessed without going through Faceplant? Do you have a normal WWW. address?
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.

I bought some plow parts from Lad many years ago.  Was a pleasure to deal with.  He even arranged for pick up at Rich Bergeson's place.  Much closer for me than Wells, MN. lol

Ditto. Although my reasons for boycotting Faceplant are not related to the political views that are currently going around.  I've had problems with to operation of their platform for years.

Folks, this thread started in 2017, long before FB showed its biases.  Considering alternatives, it is still the place to be to buy and sell things quickly.  Unless things are priced completely out of reason, most are sold within 24 hours.  If you don't like what somebody is posting, you can click on the three little dots at the top right of any of their posts, a drop down list will appear, click, "unfollow . . . .  " and you will never see another post by that person again.
You are free to move about marketplace unencumbered, you don't have to see or participate in the discussion part at all.  As long as I'm not paying to advertise or subscribe to FB I don't see the issue and will continue until a better mousetrap is invented.  I hope  a better one is launched and the sooner the better but like most larger enterprises, the cards ate stacked against outsiders.  The good part is, a smaller start-up can run more efficiently if they can just get it off the ground.

I don't know about their business, but I hope it is doing well also. I've heard that this kind of businesses involving tractor stuff is doing really great for farmers. Furthermore, I know a friend that needed help also with his business sale contract, so he got help instantly from the guys. They have great customer service, and they're ready to help you anytime, 24/7. Starting from Preparing for Buying to Closing the Deal, so you can give it a try if you need those type of documents, but I surely know that for buying a business you need them.

Been doing allcrop parts since I think around 2003? Been steady.  Could offer a helluva lot more needed parts but I have had this bad habit of plowing profits into my farming projects instead of new parts.....Wink   But hope to improve on that...

re: they are infringing on our Right to Free Speech.

not really, they just control what's on THEIR server/website/etc. They do NOT stop you to write a letter, send up smoke signals, use Morse code, run a fleapower FM radio station... they ONLY control  what gets said on THEIR equipment.
I'm pretty sure that the 1st doesn't say something like  'everyone must allow everyone to speak everywhere,in  all forms of communications'. Heck, back then they didn't HAVE pencils, ballpoint pens, radio, TV or the internet.....
here's one example....

Would it be OK for me to enter your 1,000 acre corn field and cut down stalks that, when viewed from above, was MY message ('car for sale - call xxx-xxxx') ??

I'm guessing YOU would NOT want me to do that......even IF I claim the 1st !

As I've said a zillion times, if you want control over  your 1st right, buy a server, cut some code, connect to the web........there now you can say ANYTHING, anytime and ZERO censorship by the owner of the website.

I think you’re confusing your amendments. 2nd is right to keep and bear arms. Of which I do both every day

1st amendment is freedom of speech. Which basically means you can’t be thrown in jail for what you say. And while you are right, it’s a private company that can choose who they do business with. The problem is they and their so called fact checkers get to decide who gets to voice their opinion and who doesn’t based on what their opinion is. Who qualifies them to determine what the truth is. It’s a dangerous president to set. Joseph Goebbels would be proud

orange knight - I went to your page and liked it. Thanks for posting the site.

My opinion is that some of the people on here are way too political with their posts. If they want to post political BS, there is a section just for that (which I stay away from). I'm here for AC stuff and I am glad you posted the site.

Good luck !!!

Then I suppose all of you folks should bale on this website too.  If you use certain words they are censored.

Are you going to get rid of all of your phones because their App stores don't carry Parler?

Are you going to stop going into any building that has a large group of people in it because you can't yell FIRE?

Hey there! I just stumbled upon this thread and wanted to give you a shoutout for creating the Facebook page for your dad's parts business. L&L Parts sounds like a pretty cool place to find some good inventory and parts for tractors and implements. I'll definitely give it a like and keep an eye out for your travel plans to shows and swap meets. Btw, I thought that a cbd website design company could help you design your website and make it more attractive for potential customers. So if you're ever interested in upgrading your website, hit those guys up. Hope that still helps.
