Will the pump out of a series 1 fit into a series 2 . Something wrong with series 2 series 1 woked till transmission problems happened.

I have swapped a pump I got from EBay that was suppose to be from a series II into a bar grill series I and it was a direct replacement.

I think they are all the same prior to the series 4.
