I have been working on getting my CA back into shape.  I have recently noticed that the oil pressure gage flutter once the engine gets warmed up. It probably flutter 2-3 psi really quickly.

When starting the engine it will have over 10PSI on the gage and the needle will continue to flutter around 10 PSI when warmed up at high idle.  At idle the gage will drop down to ~ PSI and flutter.

Is the flutter normal?

I have noticed the this behavior occurs after the engine has been warmed up a little, but does seem to go away once the engine is fully warmed up. I suspect that this could be caused by the oil pressure regulator

I think it's most likely your gauge.  Have you tried a different gauge?

I'm with Hub. Try another gauge.
