Can somebody point me in the right direction of somebody that has done this? I'd like to start a swap on my ccka and want to check mounting and pulley info.

if mine goes bad and i still have a onan in it i am going to mount a pulley on the pto shaft put a gyro and reg off a kubota on it between clutch and trans. that was my thought. some have put a smallersize battery in and mounted a small denzo alt in the battery tray with a pulley on the crank

That's what my idea started out as. Mounting a small Denso up front on a seperate pulley. I did take a couple pics, but being I was still in the designing stages yet when the cold weather set in, I haven't had the time to go out and doing anything yet. Between the high winds we were getting and the cold snap, I've been busy at work keeping out trucks going so the linemen can stand poles back up again and hang new wire. I'll get back to it this Spring if it ever warms up again. I have a few idea's in mind...

I've got my build documented on Simpletractors. It is a Densco mini alt with 420 amp L&G battery for space. Mine is also a dedicated loader tractor so I replaced front clutch with a pulley so as to have live hydraulics, I'm sure same can be done with clutch. Here is address to thread simpletractors.com/club2/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=154806
