RT100 Questions
Cab suspension switch is shown in the book but no explanation is given. What is position is a soft ride vs stiffer ride ? Engine under speed supervisior , the manual describes it but doesn’t really say in what conditions you would use it. The dial goes from 5 to 40 and there are three symbols one by 10 one between 20 and 25 and another by 40 . I don’t understand what the symbols are trying to explain. Hydraulic knob labeled "B" in the book . The center dial which is described as the function selection knob. I am not quite sure what it does. Again I don’t understand the symbols. The one symbol appears to the same one used on the engine speed supervisor ??
This tractor has 2 spool valve levers and the blue joystick control in the arm rest. It appears that the joystick would be used for a loader. Since this tractor doesn’t have a loader is there anything else I would use the joystick for. I suspect the 2 valve levers would be used for raising and lowering the planter or disk etc. Last question the color coded stickers are missing from the 2 spool valve levers can you tell me which one goes with which outlet ? So I can make my own stickers. |

The engine speed supervisor sets how much you allow the engine to lug down before it slows the ground speed. The symbols indicate draft, transport/road and PTO work if I recall correctly. Usually you can tolerate more engine lugging (engine RPM drop) if plowing, than if running a PTO chopping silage, so you set the knob accordingly.
The joystick can be used just like the regular levers, just pick which you are comfortable with. We used our joystick with the pull-type forage harvester. One direction raised/lowered the header; other direction swung the hitch side to side.

We use the joystick for a discbine. Get to the headlands and can raise and start to swing at same time, not trying to grab and control two levers at once.

Mark, Give me a call I can talk you through anything you would like to know about the tractor. If you have a chance either email me or give me a call would be the best instead of typing everything out. I work alot with these tractors.
Would love to help. Andrew 402-640-4518 |

Andrew I will send you an e mail for now. If i need to call I would like to do that while sitting in the tractor seat. I am going to be out of town next week so it will be a couple of weeks before I would call. Perhaps we can set something up via an e mail. Thanks for the offer to help everyone here has been great. |

Thanks
