I'd be interested in the whole plow if you were just closer. I actually am looking for a 6 or 7 bottom Allis plow for my 7050.

Joe - can you find a part number on the moldboards? Do you know what bottom number those are? Might be interested in the moldboards if they would fit one of my plows. Mike

Kurzy, Can that plow be reduced down to a 3 bottom? Looks like you could unbolt re-sections and move wheel up is that possible?

I am in need of some brackets that hold the coulter onto the flat beam.

Actually now looking at the picture a little closer the bracket is different. I would need everything I circled in the picture.

If those shins have three bolts they could be #392 bottoms like on my 4x18 2000 monobeam. It appears there are two bolted beam sections at the rear, each holding one bottom. So they could be removed to make it 3x18. You'd probably want to remount the gauge wheel, but it likely clamps to the beam anyway. I'm sure I have a plow manual somewhere but which box its been moved in may take a while to find. On my 4x18 there were no bolted sections of main beam, but to make it 3x18, I took off the front bottom and was able to move the front hitch over 18" between where the front panel bolted to the plow and where the drawbar was clamped.
Coulters were available separately from the plow and the beam the coulters on a 2000 mount to are in the same place the plow frame of a 9000 or 60 through 70 series plow would be, so the same coulters from all of that vintage will fit the 2000. Right now the coulters are off my 2000 being used for planter straw cutting and fertilizer openers. They have suffered from being near 32%. I have replaced most of the shins and my plow did well the last time I used it, but I went no till and since have rented out the land. My plow could be bought, it will need use to make it scour. Its spring trip, but from previous deep plowing I had nothing to test the spring trips and its not sure they aren't rusted tight. Gerald J. |

Per my trusty plow bottom book (same one as Gerald), 347966 moldboard number is for a 387 bottom. What I don't know if the same moldboards are on any other bottom like a 39x? I need to check my plows this weekend for the same moldboard numbers. I know my 3 bottom 73 has 376 bottoms. My two 74's is what I need to check. Mike

The surface of a plow is HARD, you can polish it with a 7" grinder and a flexible disk, or just plow with it stopping frequently to scrape the dirt stuck to the rust and it will scour on its own. That's fastest in sandy ground.
