What size belt drives the 42" mower and  the smaller belt that drives the engagement pulley. Need the width too.
The one I purchased had real narrow ( 3/8th) belt that road in the bottom of the mower pulley. I am having problems getting it to turn the blades right.

               Thanks Harold

You really need to get a simplicity belt. They used odd 1/2" increments in belt sizes and a standard belt won't last if you get one that kinda fits. The belt profile is also a differant angle than what's standard for that width. If you go to simpletractors.com and look around they have belt fittments listed in one of the sections. Sandylake one of the site sponsors has simplicity parts. Go to the parts tab and get there phone number.the lastsilicty belts I bought were not that expensive and they last.

Thanks, Dave, I've  bought parts From Sandy Lake for my WD 45"s but I didn't even think of them for the garden tractor.

    Thanks for reminding me.
