Does anyone have the NAPA number for the u-joint used to replace the steering joint on a WD?  I bought a couple a few years ago, but didn't write the number down.  The kid at the parts counter just gives that blank stare if it's not in his computer.

This won't help you but, I found one  off of an All Crop combine I scrapped out many years ago. It is the same u-joint except it has keyways cut in both ends and a tapped hole for a setscrew instead of the through hole for the roll pin. I had purchased a new replacement but thought it looked to big around. It wasn't shaped like the original. I still have that one around somewhere.

I have one in stock, #861. I don't need this one, $10 shipped to your door if you can wait. I also have good used joints if that helps. I think they are same for WD, WD-45, D series, that's what I wrote on box.

If he doesn't want it, let me know!  I have a WC.  I think they're all the same.

Can just the "yoke" be purchased or must a person buy the entire assembly?
Why is there never time to do it right the first time, but always time to go back and fix it?
