The tach had been working just fine on my 7045, but we split the tractor to overhaul the engine and put new plates in the PowerDirector. Now, that everything is back together, the tach doesnt work. I was checking connections in the wiring with my dad in the cab watching the needle. I accidentally shorted a wire to the ground, and the tach worked, but only when the wire was shorted. I know I dont want to run it like that, so what does that tell me I need to do to fix it? Thanks in advance.
