I am slowly getting the 220 back the way it should be and the latest bag of parts includes a new alternator equipped for the tach drive. Like the original it has a separate regulator. The one on the tractor now is internally regulated so they pitched the regulator, where was the regulator mounted originally?

Should be where 190XTLP said, it should be a plug type with a ground wire.
