Good evening,
I'm starting to think spring. My issue with my Allis is that when driving over drainage swails the mower deck pto belt blows off. It happens when the you are just cresting the swail with the rear of the deck. It seems like it comes up to far causing the angle to be to far out of phase allowing the belt to run off. Anyone out there run into this issue? I used the tractor as a kid but it sat idle for many years until I inherited her from my late grandfather so i have no one to ask questions to. Thanks! |

Hmm, running simplicity belts, tension is good. The deck will actually come up and push the belt upwards and off the deck pulley. Is there supposed to be a "stop" of sorts to limit upwards travel on the rear of the deck?

I have the same problem with my B110. You can NOT run the deck in the raised position or it WILL jump the belt off every time. I usually do not have an issue with ground contours raising the deck up enough to jump the belt though. Mine is missing at least 1 belt guide that I know of. Even with the guides though you don't want to raise the deck while running. I've noticed that the deck will hit the mule drive at full raise.
