There has been a few discussions about flat top pistons in the 201/226 engines. My question; Is there a big advantage of M&W pistons over flat top pistons?

Every time I run across a set of M&W pistons, they are asking pretty high prices for them. I can buy new flat top pistons for close to the same price as used M&W.

you can get a lot more compression out of the m and w piston if you use the ones for a 201 with a 226 crank.
