came out this morning....flat tire on the planter!! wonderful!! picked it up with the ag crane, got the wheel off, looked around...no 6 bolt wheels/tires that will fit....pfft! took it to town, 2 tire stores later....no one has a new or used 14 inch tire in stock! old tire....probably the one that came with the planter when new...was sorta dry rotted, with part of the tread loose in the middle....slapped the tire guy's hand when he was pulling on that piece! that tire sat since last planting season and stayed up! told him to put a tube in it! i wanted to get back to the field! so i guess...after planting, i'll be ona hunt for sum 14 inch tires! te 2 air champs i have have big TALL tires on them, on 6 blot wheels, but i don't think they will work to good on the 600 planter....don't think they will allow the planter to go down far nuff! what ya'll think? wonder too...if small baloon tires would work? like whats on wagons.
