I have a wd that you have to hold the throttle, if not it will throttle itself down. Any one with answers for fix would be greatly appreciated.

you might need a new quadrant and/or lever if yours is worn down

  your throttle spring is probably broken unfer the fuel tank  right hand side
  power stering spring and the regular one are different  have both

The friction block on the quadrant can wear and the spring behind the quadrant can get weak. I think friction blocks and springs are still available.
