Morning
Had been on the search for close to five years for a larger rototiller to hang on the 180 and be able to hang on a mid size tractor if ever bought one. All to the frustrating effect of high priced ‘needs a little tlc’ junk with worn out tines broken parts missing parts the ‘will be an easy fix’ comments yet again asking hugemongous price as ‘they just aren’t out there so lucky to find this one’. Gave up called a few dealers absolutely astounded by the variations to prices with most machines made outside the US only one supposed not was Land Pride and Bush Hog to which price set me back in a chair. Then went by local farm and home, price below the dealers made in US and gear drive, not exactly rated for the 180 but will do. Got a 72” TG72 King Kutter hauled it home yesterday setting it up today |

yup, you can search high and low, forever. I lucked out 5-6 years ago ,bought an italian made 5' tiller for 1/3 of a new one. While pricey, it is a lifetime investment. Had been 'used' 2 seasons to scuff the soil. really , just an inch of tines were shiny ! That didn't last once I found some metric wrenches ! Aside from breaking shearpin bolts it does a GREAT job. reminds me I have a B112/tiller I have to get running again....

First thing this morning made up Lower pin extensions. So can use Cat 2 No bushings and no dropping blocks on three point. Made a set for my rock rake two years ago, same conditions where can use it with a Cat 1 Quick Hitch on a smaller tractor as well.

Neighbor has a King Kutter and from what I can tell, it does OK. His garden is about 50' x 80', and hits it once or twice a year. Not industrial grade equipment, but doesn't need to be. Only decent deal I've ever seen on a used one was at a farm equipment consignment auction. Too much equipment and not many buyers that day. A rare event.

These may be over stressing the existing pins but just do NOT want to be swapping Sway Blocks off and on. The pipe is 1.320" OD and a little under 7/8"ID where fit Cat 1 Quick Hitch Saddles on the Inside of the install pin and then welded a KOCH Cat 2 pin to the outside after cutting off threads shorter(NOT Gone) Is actually 1" Sch 160 but 120 may work, just had access to a offal drop piece at the Nuke. Already use a set on a Rock Rake I have.
