A couple of things we have learnt about AC Forty Five graders

1.  It seems relatively common that they sheer sprockets from the axles in the tandems.  The practical fix seems to be centre and align the sprocket and weld it back on

2.  We have a problem with ours in that it is locked in first gear (I think - as I am not where the grader is located and I don't have the manual with me).

IIRC there are various interlocks between shift rails and the 2nd - 3rd shift fork is worn.  Could this get out of place and lock the 1st gear selector rod?

Thoughts appreciated

TIA

Ian
