I downloaded PixResizer a few years ago when needing to post some pics on the Allis Chalmers Forum.  Pretty simple to use and can save the pictures on the computer drive.

Well Steve "PAINT" is what I've used for years and last 3-4 months MS started their BS in trying to FORCE people to use their "ICLOUD" for storage so THEY have control of YOUR photos,,,,
Gonna check that new guy's site cause MS has PAINT all sewed up,,,,,

Joe I click the pic and email it to myself. It asks what size I want to send. I click medium and send.
When I get the email I hold on it and get the option to save. I click that and name it resize.
I do all this before I make the post on here. It’s slow but works to get pics from IPhone to here.

I text them to myself and save to a download file in my phone. Then post here on my phone. That's assuming you can use your phone to navigate this site.

any ideas ? I have LOTS.....
I run Windows 10 on this PC, and it store stuff where I say to ( my 'default' place IS the 'desktop' ). You HAVE to change the MS default. EVERY new uploaded picture from my camera AND ALL files off the Internet get stored ON the DESKTOP. That way I can SEE it really got into the computer AND I can then put it where I want, later.

Wife's Win10 (NOT under my control...) stores her pictures  here, there, everywhere..I spent an HOUR trying to find ONE picture she'd transferred from her camera..PITFA !!

I've used IRFAN for years for picture viewing  and 'altering'. yeah it's FREE and EASY to use.....The 'trick' is to change the 'associate' option of all 'jpg' and pix files to it. NOW EVERY picture will 'open with IRFAN'

Also, I'm now using an 'ap' that BLOCKS MS from updating Windows !!! Friend with 6-7 PCs has run it for a month or two, ZERO issues. He'd know fast he's a supergeek...LOVES  it !

The 'cloud' is part of the Chinese Control Computers Program.99.44% of all people just blindly, faithfully use their 'tech' as configured out of the box...so there are TRILLIONS of pictures in the cloud(ONLY in the cloud). Cut access to it and POOF, oopsy, sorry unavailable.......FOREVER. This also hold true for ALL other files .

OKk , my rants over...I need anothe rcoffee.....

Joe you need to stop them pictures from going to Icloud. Next thing you know they will be billing you $.99 a month because your need more storage space on Icloud, because it has gotten full.

Uninstall OneDrive

You won't lose files or data by uninstalling OneDrive from your computer. You can always access your files by signing in to OneDrive.com.

Windows 10

  1. Select the Start button, type Programs in the search box, and then select Add or remove programs in the list of results.

  2. Under Apps & features, find and select Microsoft OneDrive, and then select Uninstall. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Windows 8.1

  1. The OneDrive app comes with Windows 8.1 and Windows RT 8.1 and cannot be uninstalled.

I don't use that icloud crap cuzz when I got this 'smart' fone, First thing I did was to move the micro SD card from the old phone to it.
Then I found where I could change the settings of the camera to save the pics on the card.
Now when I want to save pics to the computer, I connect the USB cord and the fone will pop up a screen and displays the choices if I want to just charge it, or to transfer files or to transfer pictures. I select files and then computer will eventually display the phone name and lists the 'internal shared storage' and the 'memory card' files.  I click on the memory card file and go look through the list and find the DCIM file which then click on it and says 'camera'. Now one more click and it opens up to pictures and I look for the photos I want to save to computer... which I will drag and drop onto the desktop, or into other storage memory. From desktop, I use the old Paint program to resize... there you can still select pixels for resizing.
The fone's smallest size setting is still to large for saving to the AC forum so that is why  the paint program is used.
Had to switch fones a year ago and get a so called smarter fone that had at least a 4G platform where as my 3G fone was a lot friendlier to use in it's programs and a querty key board too. Had a LG Optimus L34C phone that phone that was touch sreen and I was going to try it out at one time but that is history too since it was only 3G capable... and it was filled with programs that were simple and easy to use such as calculator, and a conversion app just put numbers in and what to convert to, had pictur/video maker and video saver from the net and used it as a mini computer too when connected to the wifi, and a slug of other stuff but technology left it in the dust and now the battery got tired and can't find the exact correct battery to just use it as a camera or use the conversion app.  Angry Why can't my current fone, TCL A3X I have be that simple and user friendly?  Guess somebody wants to make you pay for all those apps an sparm you with more ads.
And I have to be careful I don't click on that freak'n cloud symbol and send my pics to it.
Going back to the micro card, I move all the pictures at the end of the year to a new file that is marked for the year so that the camera doesn't have to fill out all the pictures before letting you start looking at them.

Hope something helps you to get your photos on the web.
