I've never seen a One-Ninety XT of that series so well done. It does look like it just came out of West Allis. Congratulations! Your hard work and attention to detail is something to be proud of.

Fantastic Job Fellow! Your not actually going to use it now are you? I think you should build an Ertl type box like the toy tractors come in to keep it safe.

X2. Your XT is beautiful! Thanks for sharing story & pictures. That's right about buying a new 100hp tractor - they're spendy. These older tractors have such simple longevity. Old mechanical vs new electronics. How many decades do you suppose a new 100hp will last?? Edited by AC7060IL - 18 Sep 2018 at 8:30pm |

10.00 x 16s on the front. The rims were from a 200, so not exactly sure of the width. WF Owner: I actually live closer to your place. The GOTO site is around 4 hours away. I do not have a rig big enough to haul it. Paying someone to truck it there and back would kill me.

Where are you in Ontario? I am about 12 miles from Cornwall. Maybe the 2020 GOTO in Madrid NY ? Madrid is about 25 miles from the Ogdensburg - Prescott bridge. It would be a shame for people to miss seeing a beautiful tractor like yours !!!!!

DSeries4, Great looking XT. Thanks for sharing pictures. Some things I noticed.
-Previous owner repainted it with series III decals. -Tachometer reads 4256 hours. You mentioned that the gauges were rebuilt. So, could it have 14,256 hours?? -Starter is so close to fuel filter/primer. How difficult is it to remove starter? -Console control aluminum panel has Amazing Clarity. Where/who did you get it from?

Great work!

That is the original tach, but the true hours are unknown. The tach cable was broken when I bought it. Definitely well used and used hard. With all the problems and wrong decals, it needed to be restored. To remove the starter, you have to remove the primer - that is the factory location. Not the greatest design! Doesn't really matter. Had the starter rebuilt when I had it torn apart. The console panel came from Neil Evans at Northside Salvage several years ago. Bought it when he first started making them - I knew I would need one eventually. |
