I grew up with allis as did the 3 generations before me, I feel that I am not that old 31, and have been into them for about 5 years now, I am up to around 70 tractors, so i may be addicted, ha

I have always loved the orange. My grandad used to take me around on his C when I was just a little-bitty fella. Would put me to sleep when I was fussy. I hear the sound of a straight-piped C in my dreams at night.

I finally came back around to the tractor side of things about two years ago, when I turned 35. I guess I just slowed down long enough to consider the way I used to feel growing up, and how much I missed it in this rat-race we all have to run to keep up.

Found my own C to get going so I wouldn't be experimenting if I ever get the chance to rehab granddads'. Course, I have to get dad off of it first. LOL! I hope someday to have a little time and get him interested in helping me.

Well, I still feel young and will be 39 this Nov. I have been around tractors all my life with my Dad and Grandpa growing up on the farm. I had a 36 Chevy Pro Street Pick up taht I built and lost interest in the thing and wanted a D 21. I sold that truck and got all my money out of it, put some in savings, I started buying and selling old tractors about 9 years ago when I found 2 old tractors on vacation, I made a $1000 dollars on a John Deere unstyled G and about $650 on a Oliver 77. That bought my first D 21 and just started this thing. I now have my Mom and wife into this and all this buying and selling have paid for this hoppt. (Should say this addiction) I have owned 21 D 21's over the years and wish I had a few of those back, but have meet some of the greatest family people during this time. In our antique tractor club, we started lawn mower pulling to bring in the next generation of kids into the club. It has worked great !!! On of the first kids now has his Mom and Dad and brother and Grandpa who is 90 years old into tractor pulling. Alot of other familys have got involed this way also. I still love the old Hot Rod vehicles, but the tractors are alot more of a family enviroment and most people are not stuck on themselves about whos tractor is better than yours. (Well the JD people are there own breed I guess). Thats my 2 cents and we will help keep this great Hobby/ addition going.

OrangePower I'm 62 with some heart problems it's hard to find someone to go with me to help load my puller with weights at the pulls ...have to pay a guy that works for me to go...most of the young folks around here just want to play & drink...started working on the farm when I was 13yrs. old & still work 2 jobs to make ends meet...I don't see that they have any interest in anything...take care ...Kent

I think there will be a few, I am 15 years old and i have been obsessed with tractors all my life and i love going to steam engin shows and i love that smell that fills the air (even though it gives me a huge head ake) long live the orange!!

Yes, some of the very rare machines are worth a lot of money. I guess I don't want to see Barrett Jackson get in the machine auction business. I do want to see as much older equipment preserved as possible for future generations.
